IT ALL ABOUT TIME

Paul Wilson (is a businessman, author, researcher and teacher for meditation) and Justin Herald (is the author of five best-selling book) wrote about TIME with their perspective! Paul wrote about ON TIME, meanwhile Justin interested to talk about ALL IN GOOD TIME.
ON TIME
Time can be on your side, if you learn how to live in the present, not the past or the future!
It seems everyone is running out of time. For example, on the morning walk (if you prefer walking than using a car) you will hear a voice from a house,”Hurry up, you’re going to miss the bus!” Or a father calls from the car, “Honey you will be late for assembly. Come on I don’t have time for this (waiting for you.”
And on it goes. The jogger at the traffic lights, the office workers scurrying for the bus stop –why do they keep looking at their watches? Ask anyone what the main cause of pressure in their life is, and nine times out of 10 they will say time! Not enough hours in the day. There is too much to do and too much to fit in. In their eyes, time is a commodity that has the ability to create pressure.
But time is just a measurement of the gap between one event and another. How can a measurement exert pressure, run out or be wasted? Fortunately, there are a number of ways you can eliminate this stress known as time pressure. The most efficient way is through meditation.
The moment you stop thinking about the past and the future and focus your attention on the present –which you do in all meditation practices –the pressure vanishes. NOW YOU REALISE THAT, FOR BETTER OR WORSE, THIS MOMENT IS ALL THERE IS! And the past and the future only exist in your memory or imagination. A great sense of peace and certainty flows from this.
Another way is be on the lookout for the habitual use of time –based instructions in your thinking and vocabulary. “I don’t have time for this.” “They’re wasting my time because I’ve got so much to do.” While they seem harmless enough, words like this work their way into your subconscious and change the way you feel. You could try substituting more subconscious-friendly alternatives, but it’s easier just to go on the offensive.
Instead of listening to yourself saying there aren’t enough hours in the day, try telling yourself,” I have all the time in the world.” Say this half a dozen times a day, and your subconscious really does start to take it on board.
If you want to influence your subconscious even further, there’s one more step to take. Get rid of your wristwatch. Until now, it’s been a constant reminder of how time is flying. Get rid of it and every time you glance at your wrist, you’ll be reminder, “I have all the time in the world!”
ALL IN GOOD TIME
When it comes to success, patience truly is a virtue!
Justin Herald as a father got task from his wife to take his youngest daughter to a birthday party. The party was going to be held at an ice arena which was a bit different, so he figured it might be more fun than usual. He said he was in boy heaven –he just loves watching people fail over the ice. He watched as his daughter and her friends, who were falling down all over the place, slowly make their way around the rink.
Then he noticed a woman who was ever so gracefully gilding, turning and jumping over the ice with all the skill in the world. At one stage, his daughter crawled over and sat with him for a while because she didn’t like falling over. She asked why she couldn’t be as good as the great skater He’d been observing. Jason explained to her that skaters spend years perfecting their skill and have to get back up every time they fall down.
It’s the same in life. We tend to compare ourselves or our results with others and in doing so, only set ourselves up for disappointment. Other people’s achievements and successes are theirs and yours are yours! Jason’s daughter would love to be able to skate like the woman at the rink, but she has not put enough time into the activity, nor has she demonstrated the necessary level of patience required to achieve such a high level of skill.
PATIENCE IS SOMETHING WE ALL NEED TO LEARN! THERE IS NOTHING TO GAIN BY TAKING SHORT CUTS!
Taking our time and doing things over and over means we’ll be able to sustain our successes a great deal longer. Don’t overlook the virtue of patience. Too many people who are frustrated with their lot in life rush into things.
As the old saying goes, patience is a virtue. So be patience, don’t think that you have to achieves success before everyone else and don’t take any short cuts, because if you miss something important along the way, it guarantee that it will come back to haunt you.
